Holmström Fastigheter, Slättö, and Latona form collaboration regarding Klippudden Fastigheter with the goal to reach 10 billion in five years
The collaboration will be established during February 2022. Following the transaction, the JV company will be 50 % owned (directly or indirectly) by Slättö, 47.5 % by Holmström Fastigheter and 2.5 % by Latona.
Klippudden's property portfolio amounts to a total value (including properties not yet acquired) of approximately SEK 1.7 billion, which is slightly over SEK 100 million above the most recently reported book value.
The parties' ambition with the collaboration is to grow Klippudden's property portfolio to a property value of SEK 10 billion within five years. Slättö will contribute most of the capital to the acquisition of Klippudden and its expansion.
Holmströmgruppen, which is asset manager for Holmström Fastigheter, will remain as manager of Klippudden. Gustav Carp is the owner of Latona and will take over as CEO of Klippudden, which means that in connection with the start of the collaboration, he will leave his position as transaction manager at Holmströmgruppen.
“We already have a long and successful collaboration with Slättö. We look forward to continuing this collaboration through Klippudden where we can build great values over time ", says Fredrik Holmström, Chairman Holmström Fastigheter
“We are impressed how the team at Holmströmgruppen has developed Klippudden in recent years. Klippudden constitutes as a stable platform to increase our investment in older housing stocks with active management and value-creating investments, especially green initiatives to reduce environmental impact.” Says Christian Bratt, Head of Residentials, and Jonas Andersson, Dep. Managing Partner Slättö.
“Together, we believe that Klippudden has very good conditions to grow into one of the major players in its segment” says Johan Karlsson, Managing Partner Slättö
"After six very expansive and rewarding years, it now feels very good to take the next step in Klippudden's journey together with Slättö," says Gustav Carp, CEO of Klippudden
