Holmströmgruppen publishes annual report for 2021 and again reports record figures. Behind the company's development lies success in all parts of the group.

2021 in brief

  • Holmströmgruppen reports for 2021 a profit after net financial items of SEK 2,131 million, which is an increase of 96 percent compared to 2020.
  • In July, Holmströmgruppen and Areim announced a cash offer to the shareholders of Magnolia Bostad to transfer their shares to Holmströmgruppen's associated company. In September, the process was completed and Magnolia Bostad was delisted from Nasdaq Stockholm.
  • Holmströmgruppen acquired shares corresponding to 20 percent in the real estate company Ankarhagen.
  • Holmström Fastigheter Holding AB (publ), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Holmström Group, issued senior unsecured bonds of SEK 500 million. The bonds are listed for trading on the bond list of Nasdaq Stockholm.
  • During the year, four new holdings have been added to Holmström Private Equity's portfolio. The new companies are Centripetal, Vivium, Chaintraced and Novedo.
  • Eleven new properties have been acquired in Kalmar, totalling approximately 9,500 sqm GFA. The portfolio includes two community properties and a newly built townhouse.
  • Together with Brunswick Real Estate Capital, Holmströmgruppen has developed a social and green business plan targeted at Holmströmgruppen's portfolio of 39 properties in the Kalmar region. The plan includes a model for measurability and monitoring of social improvement.
  • During the year, Holmströmgruppen received four new management assignments in the cities of Luleå, Örebro, Upplands-Bro and Eskilstuna. The properties comprise a total of 527 residential units and one local.
